Hypertrophic cardiom: A young athlete jogging and collapsing of "heart failure" is likely due to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Born with a genetic mutation causing thickening of the heart muscles and then typically with no warning an arrhyhtmic death. Other causes may be congenital abnormality of the coronary artery such that it traverses between aorta and PA, squeezed, leading to death. But this not heart failure...
