Maybe: Without all the details it is hard to say...however...compression can cause hypersensitivity. (it can cause less or more sensitivity...everyone is different). If the whole foot is numb then yes, you may need to be re-evaluated ASAP

Not Common: If only the 4th and 5th toes were involved originally, and the diagnosis was made based on that observation, then the diagnosis was acceptable. The effects of time have now caused further, more extensive tissue involvement and updated diagnosis is needed. Unilateral whole foot neuropathies are confusing and further testing of the entire foot as well as lower leg needs to be done to clear the air.
