I understand why...: ...your doctor referred u to an endocrinologist. Many of your symptoms are consistent with Cushing Disease caused by overproduction of ACTH in the pituitary gland. But your low normal ACTH & normal DST suggest otherwise. Cushing's syndrome can also be caused by prolonged use of corticosteroids or a primary tumor of the adrenal gland, A good endocrinologist can figure this out! Best wishes!
