What's the cause?: You're describing "gastritis." Stomach inflammation may derive from both acid & non-acid causes, slow emptying of the stomach, H.pylori infection, atrophic & hypersecretory problems, indiscrete use of NSAID's &/or alcohol, to name a few. Can't recommend "natural remedies" since cause of gastritis was not defined in your question. Antacids or acid blockers are a good starting point for treatment.
