My wife has some pain/discomfort in her stomach she says it's behind her belly button the pa she saw said its inflammation but couldn't tell us why. does that sound right ? gave meds to thicken the stomach lining. we plan on try 4a baby is it safe?

Lay people usually imply abdominal pain as stomach pain. Pain located behind the navel is not typical for stomach pain which is usually in the epigastric area, at least 2-3 inches above the navel to the lower tip of breast bone. We want to know more about the pain characteristics such as duration (how long), how often, any relationship with fasting or meal... etc, to make a diagnosis & advice
