Lay people usually imply abdominal pain as stomach pain. Pain located behind the navel is not typical for stomach pain which is usually in the epigastric area, at least 2-3 inches above the navel to the lower tip of breast bone. We want to know more about the pain characteristics such as duration (how long), how often, any relationship with fasting or meal... etc, to make a diagnosis & advice
