Need to see a: healthcare provider asap to make sure it is not infected. Chronic infection can cause some fluid to appear around the site of puncture, and if you do not treat it you may need surgery to shave things there by the time the infection gets to the side of the ear into the scalp. Better be safe than sorry. There isn't any other plausible explanation for this fluid.
