Absolutely, the: younger you are the more likely your resting heart rate will be in the lower end of normal (60-100 range). The fitter you are the lower your heart rate. For world class athletes it is not uncommon to find heart rate in the 50's or even high 40's. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
