Herbal cures: First off, how do you know it is a fungal infection? Second, there really isn't any herbal remedy that will cure a fungal infection. Medicine is around because it tends to work for the most things in the most people most of the time. It is frustrating but true. When things don't go the way we all want them to, medicines and doctors tend to get the blame. Sometimes though, things just don't work.

Have it evaluated.: You may need a topical or an oral antifungal medication. Ask your doctor if you can cleanse the wound with an antifungal soap.
