Barry Resnik, MD, is the Medical Director at the Resnik Skin Institute in Aventura, FL and is a Voluntary Clinical Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Miami, Florida. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine, and completed his Internship in Internal Medicine and Residency in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Resnik's practice encompasses adult, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery. He has special expertise in psoriasis, vitiligo, and acne. Dr. Resnik's cosmetic surgery practice includes tumescent liposuction, hair transplantation, all manner of cutaneous laser applications, sclerotherapy and chemical peeling. His noninvasive rejuvenation practice includes IPL, BOTOX, Dysport, Silicone microdroplet augmentation therapy, Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Artefill, and fat transfer. Dr. Resnik has published numerous articles and book chapters in the dermatologic literature. Dr. Resnik is Team Dermatologist for the MLB World Champion Miami Marlins.
