A member asked:

Please help me understand my results. my iron level is a 16 and my ferritin is a 4. what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Iron deficiency: Based on those numbers alone it sounds like you have iron deficiency (could be due to heavy periods) . More information is needed though to give you a better answer: hemoglobin/hematocrit level, red blood cell index, and basis liver tests.
