At night my hands from the elbow down fall asleep and while i work my right shoulder has a burning or maybe stabbing feeling what could this be?

Radiculopathy.: My first thought would be cervical radiculopathy - a disc herniation or stenosis in the spine in the neck, compressing the nerves that travel down to your arms. My second thought would be carpal or ulnar tunnel syndrome. But probably coming from the neck.
