Hard to say: SED rates are only a guideline and suggest certain problems. A better guideline is how you are feeling! And whether you have fever still. Other markers are more exact. But the fact that the sed rate is going down is reassuring if you feel you are on the mend. If it was climbing higher, that might be worth a second look at what is going on. So go by how you're feeling, not the SED rate.

Well the sed rate: gives you a hint of what the inflammation from infection in your body is doing, but it should not be an indicator of whether the infection is eradicated. Repeat blood cultures and clinical picture are what you use to track infection progress. Sed rate is a temporary, if lukewarm, indicator at best.
