A member asked:

Does keflex treat upper respiratory tract infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: Most upper respiratory tract infections are viral in nature and antibiotics aren't indicated. If are given antibiotics for presumed bacterial sinus or lung infection, in all likelihood Keflex won't be first choice. It could be used, however, if you are allergic to other antibiotics and cannot use anything else.
