How long after 1 g of zithromax and a shot of rocephin (ceftriaxone) should i wait before get retested for gonorrhea and chlyamedia? (my doctor didn't know which it was and chose to treat for both).

6-8 weeks: He did not choose to treat for both. It is the required treatment protocol for both GC + CT positive. Your partner should be similarly treated.
