Normal, not STD/HIV: Yellow urine is normal, with depth of color due mostly to fluid intake. Dark yellow, orange, or brown can indicate liver disease and orher problems. If otherwise healthy, you can make your urine lighter or darker by the amount of fluids you drink. HIV or STDs don't alter urine color. But since your topic tags show STDs are on your mind, see a doctor or clinic for exam and STD testing. Good luck!
