Blood counts: Monocytes=a type of white blood cell that can vary widely red blood count=number of red cells in a given volume of blood; your value may be slightly elevated which could indicate several possibilities including polycythemia from smoking or other disease white blood count=number of white cells in a given volume of blood. Includes several different types of cells. Specific numbers of components is more useful than this raw count, which is probably normal.

Hello, my Monocytes % is 10.5 for the first time. Also, have low hemoglobin/hematocrit/mch/mchc/red blood cells (these all decreased even more since my last blood test in March). Should I be concerned at all?
