Of course it does : The question is, did you break something? You really need a physical exam to have a good idea. X-rays are ideal. Is there swelling or deformity? Is there pain when you push on the bones? Are you limited in function? Most fractures heal without splinting, but non-union is a risk. You may also develop deformity of the bone if it heals on its own, which could limit function..,get checked
