Been on 1200 cal diet for 3 weeks, thats a cal daily deficit of 570. i should be losing a pound a week but have only lost 1 pound in 3 weeks. why!? :(

The most common: causes of a discrepancy between calorie deficit and weight loss are (1) underestimate of calories consumed and (2) overestimate of calories burned off. Also, nutritional labels and portion sizes on packaged food are often inaccurate. Some medications make weight loss difficult. An on-line weight loss coach such as Beach Body provides might help.
