Acne treatment: Most teenagers (80%) have acne. It's a right of passage to adulthood and has variable expression in different people. You can check out different websites on treatment. www.mayoclinic.com and www.johnshopkins.com. There are good OTC treatments (benzoyl peroxide) to start. Hospital clinics have sliding fee scales. There is hope for you. Don't give up!

Acne: Acne is very common and with time you will likely outgrow it. In the meantime, use washes and spot treatments that contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to start. Use moisturizer and daily sunblock to protect your skin and prevent dark blemishes left over from acne. You may need more aggressive medical care and treatment for best results.
