Depends : Depends what medication you are using and what type of scars you are talking about. If they are hyperpigmented scars, treatment options would include hydroquinone fade creams. If they are red marks, sometimes pulsed dye laser can help. But, if they are depressed scars or ice pick scars, that might require surgery or laser resurfacing. Those patients on Accutane or retin a (tretinoin) also should also avoid treatment of scars during their treatment. I guess you should probably follow up with your dermatologist to discuss.
