Not necessairly: If your periods are regular, that's good. If he got out all the fibroids and you had heavy periods before, you may also have a hormonal problem. You didn't say your age, but you may need oral contraceptives/Nuvaring to help with bleeding or, if a candidate, perhaps an ablation. How do you know you're anemic?

Follow up : It is important after surgery to schedule a follow-up visit with your surgeon. That Doctor is going to be in the best position to know what happened during surgery and what to do after. After myomectomy there is often some irregular bleeding that takes a little time to resolve
