Strep: Strep throat is very serious if left untreated in a child can increase risk of rheumatic fever and other strep related conditions. If there was a throat culture done and test positive you must begin the amoxicillin. If it has already been reconstituted ( i.e. is already in liquid form not powder) it must be in refrigerator
