My daughter, 7yrs, has a cold and now the inside of 1 nostril is raw in some places & is causing her discomfort, she explains a burning sensation. is there anything i can do at home for this?

Mgt: You could apply a thin layer of neosporin ointment to the area, and that may help to alleviate the pain while promoting healing. If she develops fever, wet prolonged cough and/or respiratory distress, please see you PCP.

Vaseline: Gently apply a bit of vaseline or Aquaphor inside each nostril twice a day.
