Mgt: You could apply a thin layer of neosporin ointment to the area, and that may help to alleviate the pain while promoting healing. If she develops fever, wet prolonged cough and/or respiratory distress, please see you PCP.

Vaseline: Gently apply a bit of vaseline or Aquaphor inside each nostril twice a day.
