Should i be worried about nostril damage or lung damage? i inhaled extremely hot steam and felt a burning sensation in my nostrils. it was only one inhalation but it was a rather deep inhalation. one nostril still feels slight burn after the incident?

Unless you can see an obvious burn at that site, the body would be capable of renewing and replacing any tissue injured by this event. An obvious burn site may show scarring later. No burn visible=no particular worry for this brief event.
