Sharp pain in ankle while getting down/up in stairs?

My aching Ankle.: This could be any one of several problems. Pain deep in the ankle with weight bearing is of most concern. You would be best advised to have your ankle examined and x-rays taken to get to the root cause. This can only get worse without treatment.
