A member asked:

Can the urine microalbumin test technically ever be low? isn't a value of anything less than 30 (including 0) technically considered to be normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Microalbuminemia: You are correct. Many tests do not have a lower level of values that are below normal, either because of the limits of detection, or because their presence is itself abnormal, and microalbumin in theurine is among these.
