How's your BP?: Your creatinine is normal. However you have protein in your urine, which may be a sign of early kidney disease. How's your blood pressure? Are you diabetic? If you are, is it well-controlled? Do you smoke? They are many chronic diseases and medications that affect kidney function over time. You should speak with the doctor who ordered the tests to find out how you can prevent long-term disease.
