A member asked:

Acr test morning sample - 17mg/dl microalbumin urine, creatinine is 0.6 in blood.. no bp issue or sugar.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: The albumin/creatinine ratio (ACR) urine test is used to detect the presence of abnormal amount of protein (albumin) in the urine which is often an early sign of kidney disease and an important prognostic marker in pts with diabetes and hypertension and a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Your results (ACR 17 mg/dl and serum creatinine 0.6) are indicative or normal kidney function.
