Healthy weight gain: can be just as much of a challenge as healthy weight loss. The most important thing to remember is to continue to eat healthy foods--fruits, vegetables, healthy grains, protein (eggs, meat/fish/chicken, cheese, dairy)--but just eat more of them. Eat more frequently--6 smaller meals a day. Add calories to foods: cheese in soup, yogurt smoothies. May even a Boost or Ensure. Target about 2500 cal/day
