My mom was recently hospitalized for dehydration. she is 71. she has been home for four days now. she is still weak. is that normal?

Recovery longer: If she has in the hospital, then the dehydration was severe, and recovery will take some time. It would not be unusual for this to take 7-10 days. Make sure you communicate with your mother daily if she is living alone. Daily visits by someone is really important for her continued recovery.
