I have a mild sore throat that hurts only when i swallow. it also affects my ear. but both the sore throat and the ear pain are only on one side. i had a cold a couple of weeks ago and i still have a cough from that. what could this be?

Sinus infection?: cold symptoms for more than about 10-14 days may indicate a sinus infection or ear infection. The pain on one side could also be from an infected lymph node or tonsillar infection. If you have fever, see a doctor today. Otherwise call your doc and have them check you out.
