Yes, if healthy: Many times we will perform both Breast Reduction and panniculectomy at the same time. Of course, since the patients well being is most important, they must be well enough to undergo surgery which last 3-5 hours. Blood loss may also be a factor and determining how the first procedure goes, the second may be terminated or not perfomed at all. In the end, we want a happy and healthy patient .

Yes, If Cleared: Advances in pre-op, operative, and post-op management allows plastic surgeons to perform multiple procedures safely and effectively. Provided you are cleared for surgery, a breast reduction and panniculectomy should be possible in a single operative session. The type of anesthesia will also play a part.
