Asymmetry: of the thyroid, with one side being larger (usually the right) is common and normal. The only thing I would be concerned about is whether it is simple asymmetry or whether one side actually has a mass or nodule in it. This can best be determined by imaging/ultrasound exam. Ask your cardiologist about this, or see your primary doc or an endocrinologist to discuss this test. Good wishes!
