My cardiologist says i should go off my thyroid meds because he said it will lower my pressure, is there some truth to this?

Thyroid: You should ask your cardiologist to explain the recommendation to you. If you have too much thyroid it could drive your pressure up in certain situations. Without more information out here it isn't possible to comment. I'm sure your dr. Understands the recommendation and will explain to you if you just ask.
