I bit my cheek and it swelled up. now every time i speak or eat, my teeth graze the swollen tissue and further irritate it! how can i stop the cycle?

Careful chewing: Careful chewing with possible cold compress application and NSAID drugs (like ibuprofen) should bring down the local swelling enough to not re-injure the area in a couple of days. It sur eis annoying to reset the clock on that couple of days each time it happens, though...
