My dad has been suffering from pains down his legs recently. he had a scan and been told he has arthritis in his lower back. what can help with pain?

Needs: to be evaluated for a LESI. Lumbar epidural steroid injection. Steroids and anesthetic are injected into the epidural space and can help with pain and inflammation. I use fluoroscopy to perform these procedures. Often a series of three injections required.

Multiple approaches: with variable efficacy. Modalities include use of anti-inflammatory drugs, physical therapy, cold and warm compresses, TENS machine, ultrasonic massages, epidural steroid injections and surgical interventions.
