Arthralgia: You have some inflammation in all those joints. You may have synovitis - swelling and inflammation of the lining around the joint. X-ray will not pick this up. Follow-up with your doctor or see a rheumatologist if it has been ongoing for a while.

In my experience...: Most hip pain does not eminate from the hip. Hip pain is felt in the groin and down the anterolateral aspect of the thigh to just above the knee. Standing will increase sx. Most people i see with "hip" pain, really have it in their buttock and/or side of the leg. Sacroiliac issues(pyrifromis included) and trochanteric bursitis require an exam. Neither are seen on a hip film. Arthritis is likely!
