A member asked:

Woke up drenched - changed, opened window and slept under a sheet (w t & boxers). it got down to 60f outside. woke up cold (not shivering). dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, not unless...: It's not dangerous to wake up sweaty, if due to sleeping in a hot room. It's not dangerous to sleep with the windows open unless one lives in a dangerous neighborhood. Whether one uses one sheet or two, or boxers or briefs, is not dangerous. It's not dangerous to wake up cold, if sleeping in a cold room. But, if the room is fine, and one gets chills and sweats, there may be an illness going on.
