A member asked:

My b12 level is over 2000 and i haven't had any kind of b12 supplement in 2 weeks. should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your B12 level is about twice the normal limit. This in itself is not of concern. If you have been taking B12 supplements, you can safely quit doing that for a year. If you have any symptoms, see your doctor.
