Symptom (Sx) constel: No test, CERTAINLY not radiology test, is absolute. There r false positives & negatives w/ any test, including CT scans & US. PID usually has symptoms that r seen on clinical exam- fevers, cervical motion tenderness (pelvic exam)- & a micro exam of vaginal fluid usually shows whitish discharge, possib bacteria in culture. The diagnosis of PID is based on a constellation of Sx, not a single test.
