Likely the alcohol: Alcohol can adversely impact the heart whether you have autoimmune disease or not. It has been reported that the alcohol effect on the heart is particularly more pronounced among Asians who flushed a lot from alcohol intake. Occasionally adverse reactions from sulfite in beer and wine may also play a role (especially for some people with asthma) . Try a shot or two of vodka and see what happens.
