Prob Not: Bone islands are common. They are usually seen coincidentally on plain xray. They have a typical benign look. If you're concerned get another xray in 3-6 months.

Not a tropical Isle.: The finding is found coincidently on studies and is the result of cortical bone growing inside cancellous bone. It is also known as an enostosis. Once found it is watched over time to make sure it retains it's benign signature.
