Most likely migraine: Migraine is a type of headache resulting from imbalance of brain chemicals, especially serotonin. While sensitivity to light, nausea, vomiting, flashing lights are common symptoms, numbness can be a precursor symptom. Especially in women, hormone changes associated with menses can trigger. You need to be evaluated by your doctor; effective treatments are available and other causes need excluding.
