What could be the cause of a feeling of spreading numbness? it started in the left side of face and scalp now it's whole head, arms and hands.

Neurologist: With a neurological lesion the numbness stays in a territory like one side of the body. When there is scattered true numbness on both sides of the body things like polyneuritis or multiple sclerosis are suggested and a neurologist should be consulted.
