So i went to see the orthopedic surgeon he thinks i have a meniscus tear how would i get that i had no injuries prob from overuse?

Your injury might: have been a minor one many years ago that you don't remember, that manifested itself now in a meniscus tear. An MRI should tell for sure what is going on.
