A member asked:

Echo results show mild aorta regurgitation - what does this mean long term for me? i am worried. what symptoms should i look for? further testing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Schedule: want to work out a long term monitoring schedule with your cardiologist in terms of periodic echo's to follow vale leakage and ventricular function and size. Also ask if there is any anatomical abnormality of the valve as you may then need more frequent follow up. Idea is to follow and act before symptoms get severe if possible.
