A member asked:

I have pelvic vascular congestion (and) fluids in my pelvic,, how do both these things happen. there was no infection or mass. should i worry i'm scar?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pelvic blood flows: Blood flows in and out of the pelvis naturally and tends to stay in that area during periods of sexual excitement anticipating an event. If there is not "event" then the blood will stay in the pelvis and create an uncomfortable "heaviness" sensation which can be relieved by orgasm. Fluids will leave the bloodstream if blood is present for an extended period of time just like "swelling ankles".
