Yes,: an ovarian cyst is in the category of adnexal masses, but so are other ovarian and paraovarian masses . Generally the next step in the evaluation would be pelvic ultrasound to characterize it as a cyst or not. Phleboliths are common incidental findings and usually of no clinical concern.

Hey, I have just received my results letter from a CT Scan I had. It had shown a modulated cystic mass with two cysts adjacent, measuring 5cm 5.5cm with also free fluid in my pelvis . What does it mean by mass? Why is there fluid. Is it dangerous?
