Probably yes: We usually don't give rabies vaccine in U.S. Unless you you are in a high risk setting - lab worker, zoo vet, etc. rabies incidence in U.S. Is low so we don't usually give prophylactic vaccination for it. You can check your State Health Dept for where you are living or call the CDC for the most current guidance.
