Rarely: Please contact your Parish health department. Rabies activity & post-exposure shots are a regional issue followed nationwide.Local health departments have access to reporting of any rabies in the region & what animal are involved. Some have none, others some or a lot. Non contact treatment would be would be unusual but local authorities make that call.
